The famous Sinharaja Rainforest (UNESCO heritage) is easily accessible; as well as the popular bay of Unawatuna and the historically shaped provincial capital Galle. In Galle with the restored Dutch Fort, you can shop extensively in many colorful shops or try different restaurants and cafes.
